Palm Knead Neck

Stand next to your partner. Put one hand on the forehead. Cup the neck with your palm and knead with your palm. Repeat on several locations on the neck. If your partner wants more pressure, grab and bring the neck muscles with the four closed fingers and squeeze with the base of your thumb just like you are kneading a dough. You can easily practice this on yourself first.

Double Thumb Knead Neck

One way to make your thumbs powerful is to put one thumb on top of the other. Put the double thumb on the neck muscle and knead several locations with both hands. You will notice it’s much more stable and powerful than kneading with a single hand. Thumbs are pointy so start light and gradually increase the pressure by checking in with your partner. Come around to do the other side.

Fist Glide Neck

Stand behind the receiver. With loose fists squeeze the base of the neck as you glide up. Use lotion or oil if necessary to avoid burning the skin. If the receiver wants more pressure make the fists harder, use the knuckles and move your torso more to squeeze and glide. If the receiver has a headache only glide downwards to help alleviate the pressure from the head.
