This course is divided into the following sections for the ease of learning at your own pace:

For the bottom of the foot: Toes, Ball of Foot, Mid-Section, and Lower Section

For the top of the foot: Toes, Top Half, Bottom Half, and Sides

Each section corresponds to certain area of your body. Just like the human body is not symmetrical between the right side and left side, the reflex maps are not symmetrical between the right foot and left foot. I will be describing the reflex points and the corresponding organs in more detail on the right foot and demonstrate the flow on the left foot which should serve as a good review of the section. I will of course describe the differences between the right and left if applicable.

I will show you the Reflexology techniques that pros use. However, unless you do this for a living your hands and fingers may not be built for the task. So I will be showing you the alternative ways to make it easier for you to practice at home.

I recommend learning one section per day. And review the previous section as you move onto the next section. As you build your knowledge and skills you can work on one foot with what you’ve learned and work on the other foot.

The main techniques used

Thumb walk: press your thumb, lift half way and slide over using just the first joint of your thumb while keeping the contact with the skin. It looks like a worm.

Thumb slide: press your thumb in and up.

Hooked thumb: bend your thumb from the first joint. Makes your thumb more stable and stronger.

Overlapped thumbs: put one thumb on top of the other. Makes your thumbs stronger.

Double thumbs: Two thumbs next to each other. Makes your thumbs more stable and stronger.

Fist: Use the flat part or knuckles if the receiver wants more pressure.

Closed fingertips: Use the pad of two or three fingers put together.

Contraindications
