There are two ways to press the Primary Points depending on the purpose and your body type which will be covered in the next lesson.

One way is reinforcing and the other way is reducing. Reinforcing or strengthning will add the energy where the energy is deficient and reducing will reduce the energy where the energy is excess.

Reinforcing

Reinforcing is done softly by circling around the Primary point by mixing gliding over the skin and moving the skin like applying a lotion or creme. You can do this throughout the day as often as you like.

Reducing

Reducing is done with strength by moving the receiving end most of the time. Reducing may hurt a little but do it with a pressure that does not cause too much pain. Do this in the morning and in the evening one or two sets at a time. If you do two sets, wait 1-2 minutes between the sets.

Hands are very sensitive. You may feel some pain after practicing these.

Tips:

- Reinforcing count is slower than reducing count. Think of reinforcing as a gradual process taking time.

- Use less pressure on the inner wrist than the outer wrist.

- You can practice these on the right or left hand or foot or both. If you practice on one side, touch these points and choose a side that's more sensitive.

As you stimulate these points, which are in charge of communicating to the corresponding organ, think of the organ and send some love to the organ which are vital in your health.

For each Primary point, the reinforcing and reducing is demonstrated in the video.

LI 4 - Large Intestine 4 is located in the center of the extension of the index finger bone.

Reducing: Instead of pressing straight down, press this point against the bone with your thumb. And firmly pump 10 times.

Reinforcing: Circle over the point for a count of 10. You don’t need much pressure. Circle like you are gathering the energy around the point into the point.

TE 4 - Triple Energizer 4 is located in the center of the horizontal wrist line on the back of the hand.

Reducing: Instead of pressing straight down, press the point slightly towards the hand. This is done by holding the point and moving the receiving wrist. Do this 10 times.

Reinforcing: Rest the receiving hand on yourself of a cushion so it can relax. Gently rub over the point for a count of 10.

SI 4 - Small Intestine 4 is located at the bottom of the extension of the pinky finger bone in the depression on the line that separates the palm and the back of the hand.

Reducing: Hold the point and move the wrist sideways 10 times. e

Reinforcing: Rest the hand on yourself or a cushion and gently rub over the point for a count of 10.

LU 9 - Lung 9 is located on the horizontal line on the inner wrist in the depression below the thumb where you can feel the pulse.

Reducing: Grab the wrist with your thumb on the point, and move the receiving wrist 10 times.

Reinforcing: Rest your hand on yourself or cushion with the pinky side down. Rub gently like you are applying a lotion for a count of 10.

PC 7 - Pericardium 7 is located on the horizontal line on the inner wrist between the two tendons that’s prominent when you curl your wrist.

Reducing: Grab the wrist with your thumb on the point, and move the receiving wrist 10 times.

Reinforcing: Rest your hand on yourself or cushion with the pinky side down. Rub gently like you are applying a lotion for a count of 10.

H7 - Heart 7 is located on the horizontal line on the inner wrist inside of the tendon below pinky.

Reducing: Grab the wrist with your thumb on the point, and move the receiving wrist 10 times. Instead of pressing straight down, press slightly towards the palm.

Reinforcing: Rest your hand in angle so you can access the point. Rub gently like you are applying a lotion for a count of 10.

Sitting Positions

Pressing the Primary points on the foot can be challenging depending on your height and flexibility. Here are some examples of sitting positions that you can try. Find a position that’s comfortable for you to reach and stimulate those primary points.

ST 42 – Stomach 42 is located in a depression when you follow the second toe bone towards the ankle and after hitting the highest point. You will feel a pulse.

Reducing: Press and stimulate the point for a count of 10.

Reinforcing: Gently circle over the point for a count of 10.

UB 62 - Urinary Bladder 62 is located on the side of your foot about half way between the pinky and heel. It’s in a depression before the bump when you follow the side of your foot from the pinky towards the heel.

Reducing: Hold the point with not so much pressure and close and open the toes ten times.

Reinforcing: Gently circle over the point for a count of 10.

GB 40 – Gall Bladder 40 is located in a depression next to the tendon that shows when you flex your foot in front of the outer ankle. Another way to approach is to have the foot perpendicular to the leg and create a small triangle from the outer ankle down and front. There is a ligament that’s usually damaged when you sprain your ankle and it’s very sensitive here so don’t press hard.

Reducing: Hold the point and rotate the ankle by making circle with the toes for a count of 10.

Reinforcing: Gently caress over the point for a count of 10.

SP 3 – Spleen 3 is located below the big bump under the big toe on the line that separate and the top and bottom of the foot. When you follow the inner edge from the heel towards the big toe, it’s where it stops.

Reducing: Press the point against the bone right above and close and open the toes ten times.

Reinforcing: Gently circle over the point for a count of 10.

KI 3 – Kidney 3 is located between the inner ankle bone and Achilles tendon. You will feel a pulse little closer to the inner ankle bone.

Reducing: Press the point slightly against the ankle bone and rotate the ankle for a count of 10.

Reinforcing: Gently rub over the point for a count of 10.

LR 3 – Liver 3 is located at the end of the valley between the bones of the big toe and second toe where it stops. You will feel pulse here.

Reducing: Press the point and close and open the toes ten times.

Reinforcing: Gently circle over the point for a count of 10.
